Her walls are only about 4–5 millimeters thick, making her surprisingly lightweight and delicate despite being made from oak. The rim is intentionally uneven. I wanted the bowl to reflect the original piece of wood that I placed on the lathe — a piece that was unbalanced, irregular, and full of character.
